Olivia Prior

Hello. I am a biomedical engineer and PhD in medical imaging. I recently defended my thesis at the Radiomics Group at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in Barcelona, where I studied CT-based habitat imaging to quantify tumor heterogeneity in colorectal liver metastases.

I am currently on a career break exploring the problem of health data infrastructure: specifically, why clinical data that already exists doesn’t reach research, and whether giving patients agency over their own data could change that.

You can find my research and notes in the tabs above. You can reach me at theanega@gmail.com.

If you got here via Fulbright or La Caixa and are thinking of applying, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to give feedback on statements of purpose or mock interviews. I also recommend accedeabecas.org.
